Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager in organizing and overseeing various projects, ensuring timelines are met, resources are allocated, and communication is maintained between team members and stakeholders. Your role will involve supporting the entire project lifecycle from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members to track project progress and resolve issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project budgets, ensure cost-effective use of resources, and track expenditures.
- Prepare and update project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and status updates.
- Organize and participate in project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and changes.
- Support project team members by coordinating tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
- Identify potential project risks and issues, proposing solutions or mitigation plans.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
- Support the project manager in any other administrative or operational tasks as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or similar roles (2+ years preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact with team members and clients.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Experience in managing or coordinating projects in [insert industry, e.g., technology, construction, etc.].
- Familiarity with AR/VR, technology development, or related fields is a bonus.
